Tachikoma are cute lil multipurpose mechas from the Ghost in the Shell franchise.

Since I tend to do a lot of edits from that series I wanted to make a tachikoma model for myself. You can’t really find legal stocks online, and while asking for permission from other artist to use there’s is fine and dandy, there’s a little bit of dissatisfaction knowing I didn’t really do the highlights of this myself.

In the past I had to barrow some assets from other builders (before I even know how to 3d model.) But I didn’t want to make a habit of that. On top of that I figured if I made my own build then I’d be able seamlessly get any angle I’d want. Plus on top of that I’d have unlimited customization. If I decide to do so in the future, I could even choose to sell the model for some passive income.
